Wilma J. Bruce

Mrs. Wilma J. Bruce age 80 of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024. She was of the Church of God Faith and enjoyed cooking, singing, and spending time with her family, especially being a beloved “Granna” to her Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by husband, Ray Bruce, parents, Millie and Flora (Walden) Chiarini, sisters, Shirley Hayes and Stella Hughes, and brother, Ernest Chiarini.

Wilma is survived by her son, Jason Bruce; daughter, Brandi Taylor and husband, Clyde; grandchildren, Landon Bruce, Alek Bruce, Zoey Bruce, and Leah Campbell; step-grandchildren, Mark Taylor, Toney Taylor, and Clydey Taylor; sisters, Sandra Willoughby and husband, Tom, and Cynthia Walden; Dear friend of many years, Robert Wilson; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 PM with Bishop Delmus Bruce and Rev. Harry James officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, July 27, 2024, 10:00 AM at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Melvin Cemetery for 11:00 AM graveside services and interment.
