Wilburn Alonzo "Joe" Allen

Mr. Wilburn Alonzo “Joe” Allen age 88 of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017.  He was a highly decorated U. S. Army Veteran of The Korean War, Retired from Ford Motor Company after 39 years, and a Member of The VFW.  Preceded in death by Wife of 68 years, Bonnie M. Allen; Parents, Lee P. and Effie Mae Petree Allen; Brother, J. L. Allen; Sisters, Mary Ellen Wilson and Ann Savage.

Survivors:  Children, Gina Sue Hartman and husband Steve, Wanda Faye David and husband Donald, Barbara McCombs and husband William, Jennilee Grooms and husband Allen, Wilburn Alonzo “Joey” Allen, Jr. and wife Regina, Kenneth Ray Allen and wife Deborah, Dennis Lee Allen and wife Diane, Kimberly Ann Priest and husband Brian; Several Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, and Great-Great Grandchildren; Sisters, Rosalee York, Addie Williams, and Jean Buchanon.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other Relatives and Friends.

Funeral Services Sunday, October 15, 2017, 1:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain James Dunn officiating.  Interment to follow at Cumberland View Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 11 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
