Mr. W. B. “Stan” Standridge age 77 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015. He was a Highly Decorated U.S. Veteran serving in the U. S. Navy and U. S. Army with 21 years, 9 months, and 16 days of service. He received 5 Good Conduct Medals, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, China Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Meritorious Unit Citation, 1 O/S Bar, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm, and Meritorious Service Medal.
Survivors: Children, W. B. Standridge, Jr. and wife, Tabitha, William Brian Standridge and wife, Laura, Tonya Michelle Shoupes and husband, Mike, and Jimmy Ray Standridge; 13 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; and Sister, Sue Byrd and husband, Tony. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
