Virgie Powers

Mrs. Virgie Powers age 80 of Speedwell passed away Friday, April 12, 2019.  She was a member of Shipley Grove Church of God.  Preceded in death by Husband, Hershel Herold Powers, Son, Darrell Lynn Powers, Parents, Lawrence Levi and Myrtie Jane Guy Leach, Sisters, Opal Phillips and Lola Anderson.

Survivors; Daughters, Kathy Powers, Regina Allen and husband, Joe, and Alice Jenkins and husband, Richard; Sons, Kelly W. Powers and Ron Powers; Eight (8) Grandchildren, Seven (7) Great-grandchildren; Brother, Clifton Leach and wife, Aline; Sister, Ina Jones. Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Tuesday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Braden officiating.  Family and friends will meet Wednesday 11 A.M. at Guy Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
