Verlin Bolton

Mr. Verlin Bolton , age 84 of the Stinking Creek Community passed away Monday, January 17, 2022.  He was of the Baptist Faith, and was a former coal miner and logger.  Verlin enjoyed working in his garden and farming.  Preceded in death by Parents, James and Mary Bolton, Brother, Vennis Bolton, and an Infant Brother.

Survivors:  Wife of 39 years, Phyllis Bolton; Children, Verlin Lee Bolton, Lester Bolton and wife, Sherry, Leslie Tracy Bolton and wife, Tonya, Marie Richardson, Delores King, Albert Lawson, and Grandson raised as a Son, Daniel Carpenter; 13 Grandchildren, Numerous Great-Grandchildren, and 6 Great-Great Grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters, William (Bill) Bolton, Floyd (Ted) Bolton, and Sophie (Ann) Bolton, and Lue Jean Hodges.  Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services Thursday, January 20, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Son, Rev. Lester Bolton and Grandson, Rev. Joseph Bolton officiating.  Interment to follow at Hall Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
