Sharon Diane Walden

Sharon Diane Walden, age 60 passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. For the past few years, Sharon was a resident of Open Arms Care in Knoxville where she enjoyed her favorite soft drink, Pepsi, collecting and watching DVD’s, and drawing. She also enjoyed roller skating, swimming, and shopping for anything with “Bling”. She is preceded in death by brother, Brian E. Walden, and Grandparents, Oscar and Florence Walden, and Frank and Flossie Ayers.

She is survived by her loving Parents, Ruben and Frankie (Ayers) Walden of Ft. Myers, FL; Daughter, Kristine Reed of Ft. Myers, FL; Sons, Timothy and Travis Sakelaris, both of Spartanburg, SC; Brothers, Bob Walden and wife, Pam of LaFollette, and Brad Walden of Ft. Myers, FL; Several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and her Open Arms Care family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 3:00 PM with Rev. Tony McAfee officiating. Interment will follow at Powell Valley Cemetery.
