Mrs. Ruby Ivey age 90, of LaFollette passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. She was a Member of Glade Springs Baptist Church and was employed for 38 years at Imperial Reading Corporation. Preceded in death by Husband, Spencer Ivey, Father, Atlas Taylor Young, Mother, Sally Ann Wilson Young Sweat, Brothers, Claude Young, J. T. Young, and Obie Young, Sister, Elizabeth Young Deal.
Survivors: Sons, Ray Ivey and wife, Mitzy of Jacksboro and Michael Ivey of LaFollette; Daughter, Gail Baird of Jacksboro; Grandchildren, Lisa Bowlin of Jacksboro, Steve Ivey of LaFollette, Mark Baird and wife, Heather of Knoxville, Megan Charette and husband, James of Knoxville, Kelsey Ivey of LaFollette, Doug and Heather Stooksbury, and Holly Van DeGriff of Knoxville; Great Grandsons, Blake Ivey of Jacksboro and Abram Van DeGriff of Knoxville; Brother, Paul Young and wife, Clara of Clinton; Special Friend, Bobbie Goins of Jacksboro. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Watts and Rev. Chris Stanley officiating. Family and friends will meet Wednesday 11 A.M. at Glade Springs Cemetery for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.
