Roger Dale Johnson

Roger Dale Johnson, born May 31, 1952, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 21, 2024. He was saved at the old Coolidge Baptist Church, and baptized at Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. He worked in masonry work, and many types of construction work from a young age. Roger had a very witty sense of humor, a kind heart, and was a friend to everyone he met. He also loved his Akita Emi, she was always by his side. Preceded in death by Parents, Johnny and Lois Johnson, Brothers, Eugene, Muriel, and Eddie Ray Johnson, Sisters, Faye Murphy and Barbara Kindred, and Great-Granddaughter, Hadley Caroline Cooper. 

He leaves behind Wife of 52 years, Linda J. Johnson, Daughters and Son-in-Laws, Melissa and Bryan Weaver and, Shannon and John Fife; Son, Joshua Johnson; Grandchildren, Tyler Evans (Amber), Andrew Weaver (Lauren), Hannah Cooper (Eric); Great Grandsons, Rudy Evans and Jack Cooper. These little boys were the love and joy in his life. He also leaves behind Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, James and Bernadene Johnson and Joe and Phyllis Johnson, and many Nieces and Nephews. 

A private Graveside Service and Interment with family and friends will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Don Whited officiating. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Roger Dale Johnson.
