Rex H. Hale

Mr. Rex Howard Hale, age 58 of LaFollette passed away on Thursday, November, 28, 2024 at his home. He was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. Rex had a true passion for music, and for many years participated in the LaFollette Christmas Parade. He also loved socializing with his many friends and family members. He is preceded in death by Parents, Robert A. Hale and Virginia (Nelson) Hale, Brother Clifford “Kip” Miller, Nephew, Tim Ayers, and Brothers-in-law, Eugene “Cotton” Paul and Michael Starrett.

He is survived by Sisters, Jerri Starrett of Jacksboro and Gail Paul of LaFollette; Sister-in-law, Melanie (Miller) Ulmer and husband, John of LaFollette; Nephews, Jared Miller and wife, Aimee of Washington state, and Bailey Miller of Jellico; Nieces, Chelsea Dople and husband, Kaleb of Newcomb, and Jenny Bowlin and husband, Tanner of Jellico; Long-time best friend, David Miller.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 2, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral Services to be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Chris Honeycutt officiating. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Rex Howard Hale.
