Mr. Noah A. “Curly” Ayers age 80, of LaFollette passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015. He had recently resided in Rockwood. A Veteran of the U. S. Army, he was of the Church of God faith, and was former Deputy Property Assessor for Campbell County. Preceded in death by parents, Finley and Jessie Miller Ayers, Brother, J. P. Ayers.
Survivors: Former Wife and Mother of his Children, Irene Ayers Willocks; Children, Jim Ayers and wife, Michelle and Robin Reynolds; Two Grandchildren, Hannah Ayers and Bailey Reynolds; Sister, Betty Lou Longmire; Sister-in-Law, Margaret Ayers; Nephew, Joe Ayers; Nieces, Libbi Lay and Ginger Ball. Several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Saturday, February 21, 2015, at 2 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel in LaFollette, TN with Rev. Rocky Churchwell officiating. Interment to follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 P.M. before services at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The Pat Summitt Foundation, 625 Market Street, Suite 1400, Knoxville, TN 37902.
