Lois Jean Malicoat

Mrs. Lois Jean Malicoat born February 19, 1950, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, December 10, 2015, at 8:10 A.M.   Lois had a servant’s heart and worked diligently in the service of her Savior.  She was an inspiration to many.  She had great faith and was a prayer warrior.  She attended Shipley Grove Church of God, Mountain Assembly.  She loved her church family and lifted them in her prayers.  Lois never met a stranger.  She was willing to help in any situation, and her one desire was to lead others to the great joy of knowing the Lord.  With a servant’s heart she walked with us and now awaits us on Heaven’s shore.  Lois is preceded in death by her Parents, Roy Gothard and Thelma May Branam Gothard, Brother, Roy Wayne Gothard, Nephews, Stephen Gothard and Mark Anthony Malicoat, and Special Uncles, Charlie and Clarence Gothard, Brother-in-Law, Rev. Pryor Bolton.

She is survived by Husband, Ralph Lee Malicoat; Daughters, Angela Malicoat and Chivonne Malicoat; Sister, Agalee Bolton; Brother, John Gothard; Nephew, Michael Bolton, and several other Nieces, Nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday 11 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Pittman, Rev. Bill Gaylor, and Rev. Jay Walden officiating.  Interment to follow at Powell Valley Cemetery and Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
