Lillian "Ruth" "Granny" Smith

Mrs. Lillian “Ruth” “Granny” Smith age 87 of LaFollette, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018.  She was a Charter Member of New Horizon Baptist Church and was the biggest Cougar Little League Fan.  Preceded in death by Husband, Cecil Ray Smith, Son, Danny Smith, Parents, Otis F. Farmer and Nellie Fox Farmer, Sisters, Jewel Carver and Vada Ratcliff, Brother, Bobby Earl Bennett and Lonnie Ray Farmer; Brothers-in-Law, Douglas Carver and James Elmo Osborne, Sisters-in-Law, Charlene Bennett and Evelyn Farmer.

Survivors:  Daughter, Bonnie Ridings; Daughter-in-Law, Diane Smith; 6 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; 1 Great Great Grandchild, Sister, Doris Osborne; Brother, Cotton Farmer; Sister-in-Law, Elizabeth “Beth” Farmer.  Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Thursday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Thomas and Rev. Lynn Ray officiating.   Friends may call at their convenience on Thursday from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. with Family receiving friends from 5 to 7 P.M. before Services at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Family and friends will meet Friday 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Horizon Baptist Church, 2977 Gen. Carl W.
