Mrs. Johnnie Rogers Monday, age 92 of Speedwell passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015. She was a Lifetime Member of Well Springs United Methodist Church, a member of the Well Springs Home Demonstration Club, and the Campbell County Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by Husband, Everett Monday, Daughter, Shirley Eatherly, and Parents, John and Elizabeth Teague Rogers.
Survivors: Daughter, Joyce Mullens and husband, Rev. Jim Mullens; Son-in-Law, Steve Eatherly; Seven Grandchildren, Jimmy Mullens, Diane Peters, Beth Currie, John Overton, Justin Overton, Robert Eatherly, and Joy Eatherly; Four Great-Grandchildren; Sister, June Guy, and Brother, Ronnie Rogers. Several other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Monday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Hampson officiating. Family and friends will meet Tuesday 10 AM at Well Springs Cemetery for graveside services and interment. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Monday before services. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, 1545 Western Avenue, Suite 110A, Knoxville, TN 37921.
