Jess R. Ogg, Jr.

Mr. Jess R. Ogg, Jr. “Jr. Ogg” age 78 of LaFollette passed away Friday, September 18, 2015.   He was a member of the Woodlake Baptist Church, and retired from the Campbell County School System where he taught Auto Mechanics at the Campbell County Comprehensive High School.  He was also retired from the Goodyear Corp., a U. S. Army Veteran, and a member and former president of  LA Cruizers Car Club.  Preceded in death by Wife, Jimmie Ogg and Son, Marty Ogg, Parents, Jess R. Ogg, Sr. and Marie Williamson Ogg.

Survivors:  Son, Jess R. Ogg, III and wife, Tommie of LaFollette; Grandson, whom he dearly loved, Jess R. “Jessie” Ogg, IV; Sisters, Patsy Hope and husband, Pete of Aiken, SC, and Carolyn Canselor of Jacksboro; Brothers, Clifford Ogg and wife, Shirley of Jacksboro, John Ogg and wife, Sheila of LaFollette, Jerry Ogg and wife, Hollie of Germany, and Ricky Ogg and wife, Cindy of LaGrange, GA.  Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Sunday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Asbury officiating.  Family and friends will meet Monday 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Woodlawn Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  Pallbearers will be member of the LA Cruizers Car Club.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
