Jeanie Parks

Mrs. Jeanie Parks, age 86 of Jacksboro passed away Friday, January 6, 2023.  She had a very giving heart and loved her family dearly, especially her Great-Grandsons.  Jeanie was employed with the Campbell County School System for 38 years, was a long-time member of Jacksboro First Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher for the 11-12 young ladies class, and had recently attended Mt. Paran Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by Husband, Mr. Aubrey Parks, and Parents, Boyd and Marie Lindsay Daugherty, Sisters, Wanda Broyles and Lucille Haggard.

Survivors: Son, Rick Parks and Wife, Gail; Granddaughters, Rikkina Rains and Husband, Jake, and Audra Wilson and Husband, Preston; Beloved Great-Grandsons, Evander and Waylon Rains; Great-Granddaughter on the way, Presley Wilson; Sisters, Leona Beasley, Jana Branam, and Carol Davis and Husband, Joe Schultz; Brothers-in-law and, Glen Parks and Wife, Barbara, and Roger Parks and Wife, Deborah; Sister-in-law, Janice Broyles and Husband, Ted; Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The Family would like to express a special Thank You to the staff of LaFollette Court Assisted Living for their care and concern for Mrs. Parks during her time there. 

Funeral Services Monday, January 9, 2023, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Williams and Rev. Billy Smith officiating.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday, January 10, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday before funeral services.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Jeanie Parks.
