Jean Smiddy Roberts

Mrs. Jean Smiddy Roberts, age 89 of LaFollette passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025. She was a member of Lick Creek Holiness Church, and dearly loved her family. Jean enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, and Hallmark Movies. Preceded in death by Husbands, John “Penny” Smiddy and Louis “Louie” Roberts, Son, Jerry Smiddy, Parents, Ernest and Mary Reynolds Walden, Brother-in-Law, John Asher, and Nephew, Joey Asher. 

Survivors: Daughter, Joann Smiddy; Son, Terry Smiddy; Grandchildren, Krystal Foust and husband, Josh and John Smiddy and wife, Kaitlyn; Great Grandchildren, Bella Foust and Lincoln Smiddy; Sister, Lillian Asher; Brother, L. B. Walden and wife, Loriene. Several other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 7:00 P.M with Rev. Harry James and Rev. Hansford Bolton officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. and proceed to Hall Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Service and Interment.
