Janie Siwinski

Mrs. Janie Siwinski age 56, of Jacksboro, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015.  Janie was a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church in LaFollette.  She was a prior member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.  She loved God by serving him as organ player at her church for many years.  She was a LMU graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree and was Valedictorian.  For the past 13 years, Janie and her husband Michael were co-publishers of the local newspaper Christian Journal Leader and was awarded best community newspaper publisher.  Janie and her husband owned other businesses in Jacksboro and LaFollette.  Janie enjoyed quilting, traveling, camping, and riding a Harley with her husband.  She was preceded in death by Father, Billy J. Turner, Grandparents, Sally and Harley Turner, O.G. and Octavia Myers.

Survived by Husband, Michael; Mother, Wilma Turner; Special dog companion, Penny; several Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews other relatives and many Friends.

Funeral services Thursday, September 17, 2015, 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Comer officiating.  Family and friends will meet Friday 10:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Fincastle Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
