Janice Alred

Mrs. Janice Alred age 79 of LaFollette passed away Saturday, November 12, 2022.  She was of the Baptist Faith.  Janice enjoyed fishing and bird watching while living so close to Norris Lake.  Janice along with her Husband, John, operated Whitman Hollow Boat Dock for several years in the 80’s.  Janice was preceded in death by Husband, John L. Alred, Parents, Hughie and Pearl Lena Brown Rhodes, Step-Daughter, Renee Alred, Grandson, Wayne Coker, and Brothers, Leonard Newell Cox and Randall Rhodes.

Janice leaves numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends to mourn her loss.

Funeral Services Wednesday, November 16, 2022, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Hatmaker officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Wednesday before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Thursday, November 17, 2022, 10:30 A. M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Woodward Cemetery for 11:00 A.M. Graveside Services and Interment.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Janice Alred.
