Janice Faye Adkins

Mrs. Janice Faye (Steakley) Adkins, age 70 of LaFollette passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and enjoying her multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Janice was formerly employed with Cumberland Village Healthcare for many years and was not afraid of hard work. She is preceded in death by her Loving Husband, Danny Adkins, Parents, Henry and Cora (Perkey) Steakley, and Brothers, Jackie Ray, Ronald, Jerry, and Tommy Steakley.

She is survived by Daughters, Karen Lawson, and Melissa Sweat and Husband, Eric; Son, Danny Ray Adkins; Grandchildren, Steven Boswell, Brittany Schork, Brandon Boswell, Courtney Boswell, Audrey Lawson, Mason Myers, Angela Butcher, Ashley Powers, Tyler Williamson, Gabrielle McCoy, Libby McCart, and Cody McCart; Great-Grandchildren, Ariana, Ethan, Xander, Riley, Emma, Abigail, Hayden, Liam, Kinsley, Andrew, Carson, Aiden, and Jace; Brothers, Johnny Steakley, Scotty Steakley (Jess), and Hubert Steakley; Sisters, Marybelle Rollow, Diane Catania (Reno), Nancy Salyers, and Vicky Lloyd (Ronnie); Numerous Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 3, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM with Bishop Ron Bruce officiating.
