James Walter Paul

Mr. James Walter Paul , age 74, of Queen, PA, passed away Monday, October 16, 2017 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, PA.  He was born January 3, 1943 in LaFollette, TN, son of the late George Emory Paul and Myrtle Marie (Marcum) Paul and Sister, Nannie Lee Fisher. He married Dianne Lynn Schwartzback January 5, 1969 in Howard County Maryland.  James was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. He retired as a truck driver and heavy equipment operator from Rockville Fuel and Feed Company in 2014 after 47 years of service.  He served in the U.S. Army and was Vietnam Veteran.  Jim was a member of the NRA and the Rockville, MD American Legion.  He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, fishing and hunting.

Surviving are his wife of Queen, PA, two sons Julian Dale Johnson Jr. of  Schellsburg and James Stanley Paul of Queen, PA, two grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson and Sarah Paul, and nine siblings Nancy Peebles of Alba TX, George Earl Paul of Ijamsville, MD, Mabel Violet of Jacksboro, TN, Gerline Smith of Dayton, OH, Anna Lou Oglesby of Tyler, TX, Juanita Smith of Andersonville, TN, Roger Wallace Paul of Andersonville, TN, Lawrence William Paul of LaFollette, TN and Sandra Sue Ivey of La Follette, TN.

Friends will be received Thursday October 19, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Emmanuel Baptist Church, 480 Emmanuel Dr., Claysburg, PA 16625. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday October 20, 2017 at the church with Pastor Erik Lingenfelter officiating. Interment at Claysburg Union Cemetery.  This obituary courtesy of
