James Ernest Siler

Mr. James Ernest Siler age 84 of The Habersham Community passed away Thursday, September 18, 2014.  He was retired from the L & N and CSX Railroad after 45 years of service.  He was a member of Habersham Baptist Church, and Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778 F. & A.M.  Preceded in death by Parents, William and Leona Siler; Sisters, Rosie Ayers, Carrie Branam; Brothers, George Siler, and John Siler.

Survivors: Wife of 65 years, Georgia Kidwell Siler; Daughter, Mata Jo Douglas and husband Clyde Edward Douglas; Son, Ernest Lee Siler and wife Debbie Siler; Five Grandchildren, Michael Douglas, James Douglas, Tony Siler, Jason Siler, and Bradley Siler; Seven Great-grandchildren, Chase Douglas, Annie Douglas, Jimmy Douglas, Joshua Douglas, Olivia Douglas, Logan Siler, and Austin Siler.  Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Bo Bolton officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 P.M.
