James Earnest Smith

Mr. James Earnest Smith age 89 of LaFollette passed away Monday, January 8, 2018.  He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, retired from General Motors, and was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army.  Preceded in death by Parents, William G. Smith and Cora Ann Van Bebber Smith, Sisters and Brothers, Ruth, Opal, Flossie, Lonnie, Frank, Bill, and Doyle.

Survivors:  Wife, Mrs. Kathleen Cobb Smith; Daughters, Donna Figueira and husband Russell and Patricia Zelenka and husband Matt; Sons, David Smith and wife Lenise and James Smith and wife Beverly; 22 Grandchildren; 41 Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Ralph Smith, Roger Smith and wife Christine, and Roy Gene Smith and wife Blanche; Sister, Wilma Muggridge and husband Gene.  Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Friday 11 A.M. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Branch President James Pinkston officiating.  Full Military Honors to follow conducted by Campbell County Honor Guard followed by interment at Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
