James Henry Rookard

Mr. James Henry Rookard, age 85 of Jacksboro passed away at home surrounded by his family on August 23, 2024. He was well known in his community as the owner of Action Printing, as well as an avid enthusiast of classic cars. Preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Rookard and Marian Stewart Rookard , Brother, Joe Rookard, and Sister, Betty Ann Rookard Fowler.

Survivors: devoted wife of 57 years, Clara Rookard ; Daughters, Stephanie Hembree, and Pamela Mikami and husband, Jun; Grandchildren, Olivia (Hembree) Thompson and husband, Aaron, Dawson Hembree and wife, Emily, and Reina Mikami; and great grandchildren, Finley Thompson, Harlow Thompson, and Riley Hembree; Sister, Mary Emily Rolston and Brother, Jack Rookard. Several nieces, nephews, and other relatives, as well as dear friends.

The family, in keeping with Jim’s wishes, have chosen private services with Interment at Campbell Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation, 5757 Waterford District Drive, Suite 310, Miami, FL 33126.
