James "Jim" McCormick

Mr. James “Jim” McCormick, age 81 of Speedwell passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023.  He was a member of Fincastle Church, the NRA, and Teamsters Union.  Preceded in death by the Love of His Life, Susan Getty, Parents, Rexford and Violet Symonds McCormick, Sister, Linda Sue Odglen, and Bonus Daughter, Traci Angle. 

Survivors:  Sister, Rita Prevo and husband, Pat; Nephews and Nieces, Carla Prevo, Steve Prevo, Jaime Kurowski and husband, Jay, Patrick Prevo and wife, Heather, Rexford Odglen and wife, Amy, and Tony Odglen and wife, Robin; many Great-Nephews and Great-Nieces, who he dearly loved; Bonus Children, Gayne Angle and wife, Kimberly, Kelly Cope, Andi Brodsky and wife, Bekki, Gary Angle and wife, Lisa, Terry Angle and wife, Connie; and Several Bonus Grandchildren. 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023, 2:00 P. M. at Fincastle Church with Pastor Steve Evans officiating.  A Celebration of life Service will also take place in Davison, MI at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to:  Fincastle Church, 629 Old Middlesboro Highway, LaFollette, TN  37766.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mr. James “Jim” McCormick.
