Jaleesa Ellison

Jaleesa Marie Ellison departed this life on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the age 32.  She was born May 24, 1990 to Parents, Janet Leavitt Ellison and Terry Lynn Ellison.  Jaleesa attended school locally and received her nursing degree from Tennessee College of Applied Technology in 2008.  She attended LaFollette Church of God, gave freely of her time, talents, and resources to anyone in need.  She was a faithful caregiver to her Mother, Janet who passed in April, 2021.  In addition to her Mother, she is preceded in death by Grandparents, Opal and Monroe Pennington, and Jim Leavitt, Aunts, Jacque King and Audrey Disney, Cousin, Jamie Harbin, and special Great-Grandmother, Idessa Powell.

Survivors: Father, Terry Lynn Ellison; Beloved “Nana”, Joie Leavitt, Uncle, James Leavitt, Cousins, Devonna Harbin, Chris Leavitt, and Kevin Leavitt; very special Nephew, Devin Caudill; Several other relatives and friends, too many to mention.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022, 6:00 P.M. at LaFollette Church of God with Bishop Michael Dent officiating.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made in Jaleesa’s honor to: LaFollette Church of God, 1906 Jacksboro Pike, LaFollette, TN 37766.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Jaleesa Marie Ellison.
