Mr. Jacob Boyce Silcox age 74 of Jacksboro passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016. He was born December 16, 1941. He was retired from LaFollette Utilities after 28 years of service. He enjoyed friends, family, four-wheeling, and being outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be sadly missed. He was a member of the Campbell County Masonic Lodge #778 F.&A.M. and also a Shriner of Knoxville. Preceded in death by Parents, Pearl and Jake Silcox, Brothers, Henry Silcox and Estel Silcox.
Survivors: Wife of 35 years, Mable S. Silcox; Children, Diane Ward and Husband, Chris, Donna Overbay and husband, Tony, Tim Silcox and wife, Betsy, Rhonda Johnson and husband, John, and Randy Cole; Seven Grandchildren; Nine Great Grandchildren; Brothers and Sisters, Ricky Silcox and wife, Cathy, Imogene Vitatoe, Brenda Cox and husband, Edward, Lois Ayers and husband, Danny, and Stella Silcox; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
It was Mr. Silcox’s request to be cremated. Friends may call at their convenience between 10 A.M. and 3 P.M. Thursday at Walters Funeral Home.
