Mr. Jack Bradley Bingham age 73 of Jacksboro, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, January 12, 2016. He was born January 28, 1942, in Pineville, KY. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Europe and several state-side military bases. Mr. Bingham was a faithful member of New Horizon Baptist Church for 16 years where he served as a Deacon. After working 31 years at Ford Motor Company of Livonia, MI, he retired and moved to Tennessee. Jack has been involved in helping others with their addiction, he has personally purchased and given away many, many Life Recovery Bibles, he has been active in a ministry called the “Emmaus Walk”, he was devoted and highly supportive of a prison ministry program. Jack was instrumental in changing Campbell County AA from a secular type organization to a Christian organization, voting to allow him to bring Bibles into the meetings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chalis and Alta Hammons Bingham, and his great-grandson, Bradley Bingham.
Mr. Bingham is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sherry Bingham. Son, Bradley Jack Bingham and wife, Angela of Jacksboro; three grandsons, Derek Bradley Bingham and wife, Tiffany of Pineville, KY, Skyler McCreary, Chase McCreary, and granddaughter, Sydney McCreary all of Jacksboro, TN.; three great grandchildren, Faith Bingham, Braydon Bingham , and Connor Bingham all of Pineville, KY; two sisters, Sue Walker and husband, Bill and Donna Taylor; eight brothers, Chalice Bingham and wife, Donna, Paul Bingham and wife, Brenda, Frank Bingham and wife, Shirley, Bobby Bingham and wife, Cathy, Doug Bingham and wife, Linda, Charles Bingham and wife, Susan, Kenny Bingham, and Bruce Bingham and wife, Renee. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Thursday 8 P.M. at New Horizon Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Thomas and Jack’s Brother, Rev. Doug Bingham officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Powell Valley Cemetery & Memorial Gardens for Graveside Services and Interment.
