Hubert Lewis "Buddy" Brandenburg

Mr. Hubert Lewis “Buddy’ Brandenburg, age 68 of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024.  He is preceded in death by Wife, Irene Brandenburg, Parents, Alvin and Jean Brandenburg, Brother, Thomas David Brandenburg, Grandparents, Hobert and Flossie Gregg, and Edd and Rutha Brandenburg; Brother-in-law, Rick Spradlin, and Great-Nephew, Austin Anderson.

He is survived by Daughter, Elisa Brandenburg; Son, Erick Brandenburg and wife, Amber; Grandchildren, Autumn Holloway and husband, Adam, Dawson Meadows and wife, Lexi, Emma Brandenburg and Carter Brandenburg; Great-Grandson, Braxton Cash Meadows; Brothers, Robert “Bob” Brandenburg and wife, Tammy, and Clyde “Sparky” Brandenburg; Sisters, Tammy Brandenburg and Jennifer Spradlin; Step-Daughter, Sabrina Pellgrino Walden; Step-Granddaughter, McKenzie Walden; Special longtime friend, Gary Moser; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Great-Nieces, Great-Nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Nurse Buffy Daugherty, and all of the Nurses and staff of UT Hospice for their wonderful care of Buddy.   

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Moser officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Thursday before services.  A private family interment will be held at Bakers Forge Cemetery.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to: Campbell County Cancer Association, P.O.
