Hazel V. Moyers

Mrs. Hazel V. Moyers, age 96 of Speedwell passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023.  She was of the Baptist Faith and was retired from Imperial Reading Corp.  Hazel was an avid reader, and enjoyed quilting and gardening.  Preceded in death by Husband, Colvin L. Moyers, Daughter, Janice Sue Herron, Parents, George and Mary Evans, Sisters, Lottie Evans and Ruth Leach, Brothers, Clarence Evans and Wife, Helen, Rudolph Evans, and Clyde Evans.

Survivors: Daughter, Helen Bradwell; Son-in-law, Jimmy Herron; Granddaughters, Sandi Berrie and Jennifer Herron; Great-Granddaughters, Kayla Adkerson and Husband, Preston, Rachel Berrie, and Emma Grace Berrie; Brother-in-law, Pete Leach; Sister-in-law, Nell Evans; Many Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends. 

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 27, 2023, 4:00 P.M. at Carr Cemetery in Speedwell with Pastor Michael Dent officiating.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Hazel V. Moyers.
