Golda Benge

Mrs. Golda Rosetta (Rutherford) Benge, 82 of Milan, IN, formerly of Pioneer, TN passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville, IN. Golda was born Tuesday, November 1, 1932 in Pioneer, TN.  Golda married Wayne R. Benge on March 8, 1948. He preceded her in death August 30, 1988. She was a member of the Hope Baptist Church in Indiana. Golda was a homemaker. She enjoyed going on walks, listening to gospel music, bowling, traveling with her sister, and spending time with family and friends. IN addition to her husband, Golda was preceded in death by her Parents, James and Dora (Campbell) Rutherford and her Sister, Pat Bond.

Golda is survived by Sons: Larry Benge of Pioneer, TN; Scott (Jeanette) Benge of Michigan. Daughter: Brenda (Graden) Johnson of IN. 5 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren and 2 nieces.

Funeral services will be Monday, December 29, 2014; 12PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment will follow in Broyles Cemetery, Pioneer, TN. The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 10AM-12PM before services at Walters Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
