Fred Carroll

Mr. Fred Carroll age 85 of LaFollette passed away Monday, October 22, 2018.  He was born December 19, 1932 in Campbell County.  Fred was a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church, and a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.  He worked for 34 years and 11 months for South Central Bell, BellSouth, and retiring from AT&T.  Fred was a 32* Scottish Rite Mason and an avid golfer.  Preceded in death by Parents, Shird and Naomi Hubbard Carroll, Sisters, Ruby Leach (Bill) and Mabel Ridenour (Gene), Brothers, Shan Carroll (Alma) and Sam Carroll, Infant Siblings, Edna and Elmer Carroll.  Fred will be remembered for his love of singing praises to the Lord, his cheerful spirit, and endearing smile.

He is survived by his Beloved Wife of 65 years, Lois Heatherly Carroll; Daughter, Brenda Goins and husband, Marvin; Sons, Andy Carroll and Wife, Jennifer, and Bobby Carroll and Wife, Angie; Grandchildren, Brandi Kincaid McGee and Husband, Daniel, Abbi Kincaid Bishop and Husband, Ben, Drew Carroll and Wife, Holly, Jordan Carroll and Wife, Taylor, Lindsey Carroll Booker and Husband, David, Corey Carroll and Wife, Autumn, Brent Carroll, and Emily Carroll; Nine Great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services Thursday 2 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Grandson, Rev. Corey Carroll and Rev. Mark Partin officiating.  Interment to follow at Campbell Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M.
