Frank "Fat" Phillips

Mr. Frank “Fat” Phillips , age 84 of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.  He was a Christian and was of the Baptist Faith.  Frank was formerly employed with Turbo Towing for many years, and loved to fish, ginseng hunting, bird watching, working in his flower garden, and traveling to Cade’s Cove to enjoy God’s beauty.  Preceded in death by Parents, Frank and Maggie Daugherty Phillips, Brothers, Billie, Millard, John, and Bobbie Phillips, Sisters, Elizabeth Taylor, Cressie Smith, Bessie Carroll, and Betty Carroll, and special Nephew, Frankie Phillips.

Survivors: Wife of nearly 60 years, Faye Wilson Phillips, Sons; Billy Phillips, Tim Phillips and Wife, Henrietta, Stanley Phillips, and Jimmy Phillips; Daughters, Abby Bertram and Husband, Jerald, Lisa Phillips and Husband, Tom, and Beverly Jackson; Grandchildren, Bill, Mark, John, Scotty, Andrea, Mandy, Josh, Jacob, Johnny, Jaxon, and Ashlee; Great-Grandchildren, Braxton Maddie, Lennon, Ashley, and Papaw’s Special Boy, Jesse; Sister, Mamie Roseberry; and his special little dog, Tasha; Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Saturday, February 12, 2022, 7:00 P.M., Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathon Bruce officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Saturday before funeral services.  Family and friends will meet Sunday, February 13, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to McCormick Cemetery for 12:00 P.M.
