Mr. Floyd C. Maddox age 88 of Speedwell passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014. He was a former employee of Cumberland Grocery Company, a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, member of Free Liberty Primitive Baptist Church. Preceded in death by Wife, Juanita Laws Maddox; an Infant Son; Parents, George Washington Maddox and Margaret Owens Maddox; Brothers, Lawrence, Ralph, Lester, and Hayes Maddox; Sister, Estelle Pierce.
Survivors: Two Daughters, Cheryl Coker and Husband, Tony, and Tonya Maddox; Three Grandsons, Joshua Brown, Derick Brown, and Dylan Coker; Ten Great-grandchildren; Brother, Verlin Maddox and wife, Charlene; Several Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Thursday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Anderson officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday 11 A.M. at Ausmus Cemetery for graveside services and interment, with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
