Elizabeth Kathryn "Betty" Mongar

Mrs. Elizabeth Kathryn “Betty” Mongar age 78, of LaFollette, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015.   She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by parents, George and Mary Elizabeth Moffette Brown, Sister, Juanita Riggsbee, two Brothers, Hugh L. Brown and Harley Cletus Brown.

Survivors:   Husband, Johnny H. Mongar; Daughter, Rhonda Money and husband, Chuck; Sons, John Keith Mongar and wife, Debbie, and Darrell Mongar; Seven Grandchildren, Chris, Chad, and Ryan Money, Miranda Stanfill, Rebecca Mongar, Wesley Mongar, and Seth Mongar; Three Great Grandchildren, Jackson, Nathan, and Addison; Sisters, LaFrona Christopher, Mary Rogers, and Maude Sheets. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services, Sunday 6 P.M. at Heritage Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Matherly and Rev. Fred Ward officiating.  Family and friends will meet Monday 9:15 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Grantsboro Cemetery for graveside services and interment.  The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 P.M.
