Elizabeth Martin

Mrs. Elizabeth Martin, age 92 of LaFollette went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.  She was a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church.  Mrs. Martin dearly loved her church family and gardening.  Preceded in death by Husband, Grover D. Martin, Son, Jerry W. Martin, Parents, Walter and Florence (Tilson) Pebley, Sisters, Eula Carr, Diane Cree, and Nina Pebley, Brothers, Albert, Frank, Delbert, Ellard, John, Odeva, and William Pebley, Special Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Lawrence and Anna Barton.   

Survivors: Son, Ronald W. Martin and Wife, Tammy; Step-Daughter, Patsy Schirmer and Husband, James; Grandchildren, David D. Martin, James W. Martin, Angela Cole, Kyrie Martin, and Angel McGlaun; Great-Grandchildren, Katie Martin, Meranda Martin, Olivia Schirmer, Maize Martin, Trace Craft, and Lennon Kennedy; Great-Great-Grandson, Alex Hurst; Sisters, Magdalene Willis and Barbara Sample; Brother, Louie Pebley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.  

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 10, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral Services will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Don Whited and Rev. Johnny Dabney officiating.  Family and friends will meet Sunday, February 11, 2024, 1:30 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 2:00 P.M.
