Mr. Dean “Deano” Woodward age 69 of Pioneer passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018. He was a Member of Stanfield United Baptist Church, a Veteran of the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War, Member and Past Master of Jellico Masonic Lodge #527 F.&A.M. Dean was Retired from the LaFollette Police Dept. after 28 years of Service, retiring as a Lieutenant. Preceded in death by Parents, James Edward and Wanda Fay Bales Woodward, Grandparents, Ernest and Trula Bales, Sister, Debra Fay Hale, Brothers-in-Law, Warren Perkins and Larry Perkins.
Survivors: Wife, Vickie Woodward; Children, Stacey Daugherty and husband Chris, Greta Day and husband Robert Pugh; Granddaughters, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Samantha Daugherty; Mother-in-Law, June Perkins; Brothers-in-law, Herbert Perkins and wife Julie, Lester Perkins and Trecia, and Roeland Perkins and wife Linda; Sisters-in-Law, Mae Muse and Linda Perkins. Several Special Nieces, Nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services Tuesday 8 P.M. at Stanfield United Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Lloyd and Rev. Matt Childress officiating. Masonic Rites at 7:45 P.M. before Funeral Services conducted by Jellico Masonic Lodge #527 F.&A.M. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:45 P.M. Tuesday before all Services. Family and friends will meet Wednesday 10 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Warren Memorial Gardens in Elk Valley for Graveside Services and Interment with Full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post 154 Honor Guard and Last Call conducted by the LaFollette Police Dept.
