David Thomas Cragg

David Thomas Cragg, age 42, of Speedwell, Tennessee, passed away on March 22, 2023. David was born on February 20, 1981, in South Miami, Florida. After graduating from Jupiter High School, David went on to play football at Quincy University in Illinois. He had an entrepreneurial spirit and owned several successful businesses. David will be remembered as a loving father, protective big brother, and loyal friend. His laughter and infectious smile will be remembered forever.

David is survived by his mother and father, Grace and David Cragg, his sister, Katrina Benitez, the mother of his children, Amy Cragg, his beautiful children, David Adam, Mason Michael, and Madelynn Grace, his grandmother, Silvia Ordonez, his godmother, Silvia (Tita) Ordonez, his aunts, Lola Henry, Colleen and Gloria Cragg, his uncles, Wallace Henry, and Thomas Cragg, and his numerous cousins, Jennifer, Christine, Patrick, Thomas, Laura, Jack, Steven, Matthew, and Iain. May he rest in heavenly peace.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in LaFollette, TN, with Father Sam Sturm officiating.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 10:30 AM.  Interment will immediately follow Services at Powell Valley Cemetery.  At the conclusion of Graveside Services, a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a Charity of your choice in David’s memory.  Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of David Thomas Cragg.
