Charles Meredith

Mr. Charles Vennis Meredith age 81 of Pioneer passed away Friday, September 26, 2014.  He was owner and operator of Pioneer Fence Company, and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  Preceded in death by Son, Charles Vennis Meredith Jr.; Parents, Homer and Ellen Pack Meredith; Sisters, Lela Meredith, Opal Broyles, Beatrice Meredith, and Deloris Wilson; Brothers, Homer Bryan Meredith Jr., Clyde Meredith, and Ronnie Meredith.

Survivors: Wife of 59 years, Mrs. Bonnie Meredith; Four Children, Timothy Ray Meredith and wife Cathy, Mark Meredith and wife Kami, Rhonda Edens and husband Tim, and Brenda Perkins and husband Joe; Eight Grandchildren, One Great-grandchild; Brother, James Meredith; Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Monday 8 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Meredith and Bishop Delmus Bruce officiating.  Family and friends will meet Tuesday 11 A.M. at Meredith Cemetery for graveside services and interment with Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M.
