Mr. Billy Jack “Cotton” Kitts , age 75 of LaFollette passed away Monday, October 26, 2020. He attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and was a former heavy equipment operator. Cotton loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren, farming, gardening, and trout fishing. Preceded in death by Parents, Elbert Rose, Sr. and Gertrude Kitts; Brothers, Elbert Rose, Jr., Elmer, Boyd, Troy, and R.L. Kitts, and Sisters, Naomi Gillum, Lorene Rutherford, and Margaret Kitts.
Survivors: Children, Angie Green and husband Ernest, Greg Kitts and wife, Kim, Jackie Kitts, Zachary Kitts, and Desiree Kitts; Grandchildren, Katrina Welden and husband, Dustin, Julia Leinart and husband, Will, Kayla Rains and husband, Josh, Greg Kitts and wife, Anna, and Aundria Kitts; Great-Grandchildren, Madison Welden, Brantley Garner, Kolten and Rowen Leinart, Kimbree and Avery Rains, and Tytus and Rosie Kitts; Brothers, Larry Kitts and Wife, Kathy, David Kitts and Wife, Martha, Ronnie Kitts and wife, Della; Sisters, Barbara Carson, Geraldine Ayers, and Linda McCreary and husband, Don. Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020, 7:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Gillum officiating. A Private Interment will be held at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. Friday before services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to: Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Fund, 147 Davenport Road, LaFollette, TN 37766 or Campbell County Cancer Association, P.O.
