"Bill" Sammons

Mr. William B. “Bill” Sammons age 75 of Jacksboro passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018.  Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of American Legion Post 58, a member of Beech Fork Baptist Church.  Preceded in death by Parents, Lester C. and Clara Sparks Sammons, Brother, A.W. Sharp, and Daughter-in-law, Tera Orick Sammons.

Survivors: Wife of 51 years, Anna Sammons; Children, Scott Sammons and Wife, Amanda, Mark Sammons and Wife, Tracy, and Suzanne McKamey and Husband, Dean; Four Grandchildren, Hannah Sammons, Jacob Sammons, Cooper Sammons, and Lucas McKamey; Brother, Jim Sammons; Sisters, Betty Fay Russell and Frankie Wilson; Several other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services Friday 7 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.W. Fraker and Rev. George Asbury officiating.  Family and friends will meet Saturday at 9:30 A.M. at Walters Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for Graveside Services and Interment with Full Military Honors conducted by the Campbell County Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 P.M.
